In 2005 , the Group makes research a structural pillar
of its business model , as the basis for expanding
its knowledge and understanding of the
mechanisms of the living world and industrial
processes . Its ultimate goal is to design increasingly
specif ic and technically advanced solutions .

production process research
centre with an integrated pilot
plant that is a scale replica of
a full - size production facility for use
by all our plants around the world .
2015 Opening of the Centre
Mondial de l ’ Innovation Roullier
in Saint - Malo , one of the few
private , multi - disciplinary , central
research centres , with the aim
of facilitating the development
of distinctively different
technologies and innovative
processes . This 5 , 000 m

centre
is dedicated exclusively to
research , and includes 1 , 200 m
2
of
experimental greenhouses designed
to replicate the climates and soils
of different continents for up to
3 , 000 plants . Some of its analytical
laboratories focus on plant nutrition ,
and others on animal nutrition .
