The foundational

choice to use maërl

as a soil improver

The Group was born out of a bold

idea by our founder Daniel Roullier

to use maërl a marine sediment

of detached coralline algae

as a long term acidic soil

improver It wasn t long before

he was recognised for

his expertise in crop nutrition

His locally focused business

model became a def ining feature

This project led ultimately to the

creation of TIMAC which would

later become TIMAC AGRO
