The health and safety of its people
is a priority employment issue for
Groupe Roullier, which also sees it as
a precondition for future growth. So
against this background, two ambitious
targets have been set for 2025:
Reducing our occupational
accident frequency rate from
from 9 to 5.
Achieving an average internal
personal injury benchmark
score of 81/100 in our
manufacturing subsidiaries.
Every subsidiary makes its own
contribution to the collective effort
Organisational changes have also been made at
subsidiary level. The fact is that our subsidiaries have
impressively demonstrated their ability to move the dial
in terms of risk analysis and resolution. The examples of
Agriplas-Sotralentz-Packaging and Magnesium do Brasil
speak for themselves: these subsidiaries had historically
high accident frequency rates, but both are now able to
report high numbers of consecutive accident-free days.
TIMAC AGRO prioritised this issue in 2024, with the
creation of a safety department fully coordinated from
the centre. At Phosphea, the main change was the
introduction of HSE cross-site audits as the basis for
sharing best practices and building stronger inter-site
relationships. So in 2024, the company’s Tunisian and
Brazilian teams were able to visit and tour its sites in
Saint-Malo, and its Spanish subsidiary got together
with their Serbian counterparts to learn from each
other and swap ideas. Each BU now disseminates
and strengthens its safety culture by fully integrating
it into everyday operations, and extending its reach
beyond the production plant to include travelling sales
representatives and off ice-based administration staff.
