4 Pillars
Close customer relationships
Building close customer relationships is a pillar of our Ambition 2030 strategy primarily because historically it is a cornerstone of the Group business model. Its basis is a field sales force that understands the needs of customers, and production units located in catchment areas where business is concentrated.
Our challenge: to build on our strengths to gain an even better understanding of our customers’ needs, adapt to those needs, and exploit the full potential offered by our markets.

Sharing knowledge with our customers and partners
TIMAC AGRO, Phosphea and Terresis share their expertise through field training sessions and webinars to strengthen skills and build even closer relationships with customers.
Climate hazard insurance
Zenagro was born out of a need escalated by the sales teams: providing their fertiliser customers with a level of security against climate hazards that can result in major losses of yield.
Innovation
Innovation is a central strand of Group DNA and its right to be different. It relies on the ability to design creative, non-standard approaches as the basis for offering distinctively different, more effective and more efficient solutions that meet the real-world and local needs of customers.
Our challenge: accelerating our ability to drive innovation more effectively to offer high-performance, high-efficiency solutions and stand out even more distinctively in our markets over the long term.

Sustainability
Sustainability is a natural extension of the Group’s historic commitment to efficiency. Designing the right solution, in the right quantity, in the right place, at the right time. This requirement extends across the entire product life cycle, from the choice of raw materials to industrial processes, through to their impact on ecosystems.
Our challenge: to reduce our environmental footprint faster by integrating sustainability into every stage of our activities.
Read the testimonialEnergy efficiency gains at our granulation plants
TIMAC AGRO conducts energy audits of its granulation plants, engaging teams to optimize processes. Targeted investments, including a new boiler and improved insulation, save 1,500 MWh per year, preventing the emission of 360 tonnes of CO₂ annually.
Biomass: diversifying sources and making production processes more secure
TIMAC AGRO and Terresis leverage complementary biomass resources to combine performance, renewable energy generation and carbon footprint reduction within a circular economy approach.
This is the result of installing 3,500 m² of rooftop solar panels at the TIMAC AGRO site in Ripalta (Italy).
Ten years of effort to reduce Terresis sulphur emissions
Launched in 2015 with the support of the European Union, Terresis implemented a flue gas desulfurization project at its Zubiri site in Spain. The objective is to reduce sulfur emissions by up to 70%.
Operational excellence
Operational excellence is an extension of the Group’s historic commitment to maintaining expert control management of its production facilities to guarantee quality, reliability and performance. It incorporates continuous process improvements, plant upgrading, team commitment and the safety culture central to our operations.
Our challenge: to optimise and secure our production facilities for the long term, at the same time as making the Group even more competitive and ensuring safety at every level.
