This European label bestowed by PLASTI OUEST acknowledges their work in selecting recycled plastic materials for their products and incorporating them into them. To date, they have tested more than 15 different materials from industrial and household packaging waste in their factories.

By promoting recycled plastic materials, Agriplas-Sotralentz Packaging is now aiming to think about radically transforming its business in order to reduce the environmental footprint of its operations and conserve fossil fuels. These issues are all the more critical considering that plastic takes between 100 and 1000 years to degrade in nature and that the vast majority of plastic produced around the world is not recycled: 5 to 13 million tonnes of plastic now end up in the oceans.

By being awarded this label, Agriplas-Sotralentz Packaging’s commitment to the circular economy is being truly recognised. This overarching approach is embedded into the business strategy and will drive forward industrial innovation. It is built around 5 priority measures:

                - Incorporating recycled plastic and developing partnerships with suppliers,

                - Developing scientific partnerships with local actors,

                - Reducing packaging weight,

                - Reducing electricity consumption by upgrading machinery (moving from hydraulics to electricity),

                - Constantly training employees in order to adapt their roles to different changes.

This positive and proactive process is also part of the Groupe Roullier’s CSR policy, so that we can consider our environmental, social and community-based challenges and create long-term partnerships with our stakeholders.
