Groupe Roullier invited to CHOOSE FRANCE 2026

On June 1, Sophie Bigaignon, Chair of the Executive Board, and Arnaud Metterie, Chair of the Supervisory Board, attended the Choose France Summit, held at the Palace of Versailles under the auspices of the President of the French Republic. This invitation highlights that, for us, choosing France has been a concrete, industrial, and human commitment since 1959.

A diversified industrial model rooted in its territories

For 67 years, we have built a strong and diversified industrial footprint in France, serving key sectors of the French and European economies.

Nourishing soils, plants, and animals to ultimately nourish people has been our mission from the very beginning.

Addressing the essential needs of the agricultural and agri-food sectors, we develop high value-added solutions in soil fertilization, plant nutrition, and animal nutrition through TIMAC AGRO, Phosphea, and Terresis. With Paticeo, our flagship industrial bakery brands delight consumers in France and beyond. Finally, we produce advanced technical solutions in plastics processing.

Producing in France to feed France: an act of sovereignty

We take pride in producing high-performance fertilizers in France, thanks to our unique industrial expertise. Our strong French footprint remains a priority, ensuring strategic autonomy for French farmers and breeders in the face of geopolitical uncertainties. This is not only an industrial decision—it is an act of food sovereignty.

This commitment extends well beyond our industrial sites. Every day, our representatives visit more than 2,000 farmers across France to advise, support, and tailor our solutions to the concrete realities of their operations. This close field presence makes the difference: we stand alongside those who feed France.

Wherever we operate, we create and sustain long-term local employment ecosystems. Today, we operate 33 industrial sites across the country and employ 2,530 people in France, representing approximately one quarter of our global workforce. This industrial base has been built investment after investment, driven by the long-term vision of a family-owned group.

France: the foundation of a global ambition for sustainable agriculture

The challenges ahead—food sovereignty, agroecological transition, and the decarbonization of agriculture—will be addressed through the strength of our “made in France” innovation.

The Centre Mondial de l’Innovation Roullier, located on our campus in Saint-Malo, develops high-tech solutions for next-generation agriculture. This 5,000 m² research center, featuring phenotyping greenhouses and laboratories, brings together 80 researchers from 14 nationalities. It also includes a pilot plant that develops unique industrial expertise.

With 18 technological product launches in 2025 and 46 patent families filed, we are designing the solutions of tomorrow to serve farmers worldwide.

67 years of commitment and 10,555 employees worldwide

€2.9 billion in revenue
10,555 employees across all continents
110 industrial sites worldwide
5 business activities addressing essential global needs

And from Saint-Malo, a global research center that is shaping the agriculture of tomorrow for every continent.

For us, choosing France is a strategic choice renewed over the past 67 years. I am very proud to represent all Groupe Roullier employees at Choose France. Thank you for your commitment to serving the world’s essential needs, in France and internationally.
