Groupe Roullier & Energy Observer Partnership: Exploring for a Sustainable Future
In 2025, Groupe Roullier entered into a three-year partnership with Energy Observer, the world’s first hydrogen-powered vessel, 100% energy self-sufficient and producing no greenhouse gas emissions, fine particles, or noise, combining cutting-edge technologies with energy efficiency. This partnership supports the energy transition by promoting concrete solutions for decarbonization and sustainable innovation. Energy Observer embodies a forward-looking vision by testing, experimenting with, and sharing practical solutions for a responsible future.
Since 2020, the Groupe Roullier and its subsidiaries have officially joined the international movement of the United Nations Global Compact – a move that represents another step forward in our corporate responsibility strategy, and allows us to bolster our societal commitments on an international scale. Through participation in the Global Compact, we hope to both sustain our actions in favour of the Global Compact’s Ten Principles – which cover human rights, labour standards, the environment, and anti-corruption efforts – and contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
