Extra-Financial Performance Report 2020 Groupe Roullier Extra-Financial Performance Report 2020 Groupe Roullier A GROUP WITH REAL COMMITMENT A GROUP WITH REAL COMMITMENT ZOOM #1 SUCCESSFUL ONLINE TRAINING AT TIMAC AGRO The pandemic and the succession of lockdowns in most countries have significantly limited international travel, and therefore physical contact between the Group holding company and its subsidiaries. But to maintain those relationships and maintain continuity of training for our talented people, our training programmes continued via video conferencing technology. Organised by TIMAC AGRO International, our Expert Training Sessions specialising in Plant and Animal Nutrition therefore continued, but with up to 4 times more participants than was previously the case, bringing together employees from as many as 30 different countries. At the same time, more than 50 webinars on technical subjects and products were hosted by country specialists to ensure that TIMAC AGRO knowledge and expertise continues to flow into the agricultural industry at field level. Online training has been much more widely adopted by our subsidiary companies to support the skills development of their people. ZOOM #2 START TIMAC, THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME CREATED BY TIMAC AGRO ROMANIA TIMAC AGRO Romania has launched its START TIMAC programme designed to attract future graduates keen to build a career in Agrosupply. Between August and November 2020, six students began this adventure, learning from top specialists and getting involved in real-life projects to build their professional skills. TIMAC AGRO Romania offered these students the opportunity to add practical depth to their theoretical knowledge and knowledge of agricultural practices through a technical training programme and assignments alongside company employees. On completion of the programme, four of the six joined the teams of TIMAC AGRO Romania under full-time contracts of employment. 43 42 ZOOM #3 AN INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL TOOLS TRAINING PROGRAMME To provide maximum support for the adoption of digital tools by our employees to facilitate interaction and sharing in real time, we have designed a dedicated training programme for our French and international subsidiaries. In 2020, the digitalisation process launched a few years ago proved to be a major factor in our ability to ensure business continuity despite social distancing. Offered on a voluntary basis, these training opportunities have proved even more essential during the COVID-19 crisis, which required massive and widespread adoption of digital tools (especially Teams), and saw the number of users rise by more than 30% between January and December. Our philosophy is to introduce users to the uses they can make of these tools, rather than to teach the applications themselves; this way, individual users can adapt the resources available to meet their own business needs. In this way, more than a thousand employees received training during the year, and the rollout continues in France and abroad with training videos in several languages for a number of different apps. These new technologies facilitate efficiency and innovation, of course, but they need to be properly understood in order to exploit their full potential.“ Mathieu Delpuech, Chief Information Officer
