A GROUP WITH REAL COMMITMENT Extra-Financial Performance Report 2020 Groupe Roullier Extra-Financial Performance Report 2020 Groupe Roullier A GROUP WITH REAL COMMITMENT Contributing to the workplace integration of young people With 2,270 employees aged under 30 in 2020, including 549 under 25, we place on young graduates within the Group. Our policy of supporting rapid upskilling and promotion is a direct inheritance of our historical DNA, since our founder Daniel Roullier was only 23 years old when he opened the Group’s first production plant. He successfully implanted his own passion for entrepreneurship, ambition and perseverance as core values of our corporate culture, and transformed them into the proactive principles that underpin our commitment to recruiting young graduates. With induction courses, coaching, discussion and training, as well as dedicated programmes like our Graduate Programs 1 and 2, we do everything we can to enable our young talent to grow and mature professionally and personally within the Group. Our subsidiary companies in Europe and Brazil have also developed many integration programmes for young trainees and work-study students as part of attracting the most talented young people and training them to become experienced specialists ready to make their own mark on the jobs market. TO HELP OUR PEOPLE COPE WITH CURRENT AND FUTURE CHANGES, WE ARE COMMITTED TO ACCELERATING THE PACE OF THEIR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORTING THEM IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH. A dedicated training and learning structure Our career management policy is based on the principles of autonomy and trust, because we want to encourage our people to exercise their own initiative while providing them with the support they need to grow. The majority of this support is focused on building skills through training and learning across the full range of careers available in the Group. Since these are often very specialised, they require a methodical approach to learning about our products, business environment and expertise. Our training courses are tailormade to enable every individual to become a high-performing employee in their own field of expertise, because the growth of our Group depends on the development of its people. We make every effort to support them with developing their job-related and interpersonal skills as they build their careers with the Group. G rowing Together is our core philosophy for action, which means we pay particularly close attention within the Group to the vertical and horizontal professional development of our people, their integration and their training. We also make our contribution to bringing into the workplace those young people who have been particularly badly hit during the past year. Being a responsible employer means we embrace our duty to help our 8,500 existing employees and more than 1,900 new recruits to develop personally and professionally as they contribute to the development of the company. 14 hours of training delivered per employee on average during the year 64% of employees completed at least one training course during the year Providing ongoing training for our employees is an essential link in the innovation chain.“ Mira Mihaylova, Strategic Human Resources Director Internal mobility is key to a successful career path More than 110 of our employees took up internal mobility opportunities during 2020. These opportunities were created and facilitated through the collaborative efforts of our HR teams, employees and managers, and highlight the rich diversity of job opportunities open to our employees. To help them access these opportunities, we have worked with our subsidiary companies to co-construct an Internal Mobility Policy that has been further developed with the creation of an internal mobility charter available to all employees. This charter guides the actions of all those involved in internal mobility, facilitating their career path and helping them to take up new roles in a dynamic and secure working environment. This policy and charter are based on the principles set out in our collective agreement on the forward management of employment and skills (GPEC) signed in 2018 for all our French businesses, which incorporates provisions for training, induction, mobility and professional development. All these factors are applied operationally within our business lines, and are designed to encourage the continuous improvement of working practices. Our future can only be written by giving responsibility to all our employees, regardless of age.“ Sébastien Chauffaut, CEO Group 549 young people under 25 321 interns and trainees 41 40 Our contribution to employee and partner development #1 ENCOURAGING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
